YOUR WAIT IS OVER
We are living in unprecedented times. The onset of a worldwide pandemic has left many of us uncertain about the present and the future of our lives. There are so many questions beyond the immediate ones like should I stock up on toilet paper, that your instinct might be to put off making decisions in favor of waiting until the world looks more “normal.”
That’s understandable and hunkering down with Netflix and Uber Eats is appealing, but that’s not your way, is it?
Whether your day-to-day has changed a little or a lot in the last six months, certain things have remained. Let’s look at what keeps coming up for you and what you can do right now.
What Keeps Coming Up?
The fact is many people have lost their jobs or are working less. Outside of some virologists or a handful of pandemic experts, most people had no idea something like this could change our world so dramatically. Yet, here we are.
Still, a changed world has not shut down who you really are. The goals and nagging ideas you had before this began persist. What is your big idea? A business? Lose 10 pounds? Volunteer to deliver meals? Clean the garage? Regardless of the apparent conditions in the world, some things don’t change. It’s up to you.
Trust Yourself
You know what to do, but you don’t do it. Is it a lack of trust in your instincts? Maybe you’re waiting for the whole plan to be revealed. I mean, who doesn’t want to know that you’ll end up successful, rich and admired?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way for many of us. Yes, keeping the end in sight is essential, but if you can’t wait for something to happen. You decide to move in the only way you can now. Hold that vision in your mind and step forward.
Falling Forward
The first step puts you on your way to becoming an overnight success in, oh I don’t know, 10 years or so J. Consistency is essential because everything you do may not work. You will fall short sometimes and all you can do is look for the lesson and choose to keep moving forward.
You have been given an opportunity to take the next step. You are free to choose the vision you’ve long held for yourself. Your wait is over.
